Ally Boothroyd

Ally Boothroyd is a yoga and meditation educator known for her deeply grounding, trauma-informed approach to Yoga Nidra & conscious rest. Specializing in Yogic Sleep, Ally has guided over 1,000 students through her online trainings and supported over 24 million people in finding peace through her free resources on YouTube & Insight Timer. Her teachings help to regulate the nervous system, reverse exhaustion, and restore emotional resilience. Ally’s journey began with her own healing from anxiety, insomnia, and asthma, which inspired her to dedicate her life to sharing these powerful tools with others. With over 15,000 hours of teaching experience, and over 5,000 hours of training yoga teachers, Ally draws from the wisdom of Classical Hatha Tantra, Yoga Psychology, and Kripalu Yoga to guide people home to themselves. Her retreats offer a nurturing space for deep rest, inner connection, and transformation. Ally is passionate about helping others reconnect with their inner wisdom, the rhythms of nature, and the sanctuary within. Ally’s team from the Faculty of the School of Living Yoga are known for their heart-centered approach to guidance and she is very excited to bring several Faculty members in for this retreat to create a network of support and nurturing experiences for our guests.
